Total Training Solutions Adds New Online Leadership and
Management Courses
Training Designed for Adult Learners Seeking to Strengthen
Leadership and Management Skills in For-Profit and Non-Profit Organizations
Tucson, AZ, June, 2008: Total Training Solutions’ partnership with
the Winchester Center for Management Development has grown to include 35
affordable online professional development courses. Several new courses have
been added, including:
How to Coach
This brief How to Coach course focuses on the skills and
techniques of positive coaching in an organizational setting, including
active listening, observing and providing constructive feedback, reinforcing
positive employee performance through recognition and praise, and teaching
new skills.
Budgeting in a Non-Profit Organization
Budgeting in a Non-Profit Organization covers budgets and how they
are used in non-profit organizational settings. Learners gain an
understanding of the uses and functions of budgets and the relationship
between strategic budgeting and tactical budgeting. They will also learn
about the organization-wide budget and different budget systems. The course
covers more advanced topics such as capital budgets, cash flow budgets, and
opportunity budgets.
Creativity in Teams and Organizations
Creativity in Teams and Organizations draws on the latest academic
thinking, to address the key factors for creative teams. The course focuses
on tools and techniques designed to yield more productive thinking in
collective settings. Participants learn about a number of targeted tools
(including brainstorming, Discussion 66, Provocation, and others) to
generate fresh thinking in smaller group settings and in their
organizations.
